About
Hey!
I am a freelance science writer based in Bangalore, India. While I got my start writing about biotechnology, something that I studied at university, I now cover science and technology more broadly.
And I like it that way because, as tiring the cliche is, science is interdisciplinary. Every now and then, my work allows me a glimpse of some of these connections that researchers are making now. Like how saving tigers benefits the climate or burning iron in space is paving the way to cleaner energy on Earth.
I have contributed articles to Big Think, Asian Scientist, Labiotech.eu, and SynBioBeta, in addition to writing for a bunch of other publications. In 2022, I received a National Press Foundation grant for covering rare diseases. A selection of my bylines is on this page.
